Dr. Miyamoto graduated from Hilo High School and went on to study at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (Honolulu). While studying for his Baccalaureate in Biology, Dr. Miyamoto worked at the Queen’s Medical Center as a phlebotomist and laboratory aide. Upon graduation from the University of Hawaii, Dr. Miyamoto worked as a psychiatric assistant at the Queen’s Medical Center.
